Heating and Air Fort Wayne thought the follow article holds lots of hope for the future of solar, as well as other alternative energy sources. The leading obstacle to overcome in research for alternative energy types is effective and cost effective ways of storing the produced energy, especially for solar. The article explains research that is being done that may well have solutions for it on a very large scale for the benefit of the entire energy grid in the US, within 20 years!
Wind, Solar, & Storage Could Power Full Electric - CleanTechnica

In this study, reliability was achieved by: expanding the geographic area of renewable generation, using diverse sources, employing storage systems, and for the last few percent of the time, burning fossil fuels as a backup.
We have another article on our main website on Possible Storage Solutions for Solar Power for you to check out too.
The following video gives a little more information on this topic as well:

Biomass Heating
We wanted to share this article link with you today. We found it a good read not just on the use of biomass, but on alternative energy in general.
So three big reasons to use biomass heating are it costs less then fossil fuels, it creates a lot less carbon dioxide, and some people have cut their heating energy expenses in half! Heating and Air Fort Wayne thinks these are excellent reasons to use it.
Guest Post: Alternative Heating Systems Should Be Given a Chance!
"An interesting fact is that a gallon of fuel releases 20 pounds of carbon dioxide into the air, thus if one person would use the solar, wind or any type of alternative energy to enjoy a daily supply of heat or water, everyone would be breathing a ..."
